H ινδική LML ξεκίνησε τη συνεργασία με την Piaggio το 1984, αλλά η σύμπραξη τους λύθηκε με εξωδικαστική συμφωνία το 1999. Συνέχισε να παράγει κλώνους της σειράς PX τα οποία πωλούνται στις ΗΠΑ με την ονομασία Stella (η ιταλική λέξη για το αστέρι) ενώ στην Ευρώπη με το όνομα Star. The LML, an indian manufacturer, started cooperating with Piaggio in 1984, but their partnership ended in 1999 when a settlement was achieved. They continued producing PX clones which in the USA are sold as “Stella” (the italian word for the star) and in Europe as “Star”. They are popular in Italy and in LML Italia’s website, where you can browse through the plethora of color options. Their latest model is the 200cc fuel-injected 4 stroke.
